Assessment and Capacity Building of Kalahi-CIDSS Subproject Utility & Sustainability
This is Time and Materials type contract.
The objectives of the KALAHI-CIDSS (KC) project are:
• Improve the responsiveness of local government to community needs
• Encourage communities to engage in development activities
• Deliver benefits to barangay residents through individual sub-projects
Through KC, a community-driven development (CDD) program, communities ("barangays" or villages) are trained, together with their local governments, both at the barangay and the municipal level, to choose, design and implement sub-projects (SPs) that are intended to address their most pressing needs. This is done through a three-year, three-cycle program, which includes social preparation training for communities, barangays, and municipalities, and sub-project implementation.
The deadline for proposals is 2.00 pm 10/28/15.
