The contract requires a qualified contractor to perform detailed environmental testing within a 60-kilometer radius, including sampling and analysis of building materials, air, water, and soil for asbestos and pollutant content. Key contract requirements include laboratory accreditation from a recognized organization, personnel with specific qualifications and training, and strict compliance with federal and German environmental regulations. Contractors must implement robust safety protocols to protect personnel and the public during testing activities. The contract is not designated with any specific set-aside status, making it open to a broad range of environmental testing and remediation service providers. While no incumbent contractor is mentioned, the work falls under the NAICS category 562910 for Remediation Services and PSC category R499 for Professional Support Services. The scope of work involves comprehensive environmental testing across multiple sites, with potential for ongoing services through the IDIQ contract structure. Work will be conducted during standard hours of 07:00-18:00, with specific restrictions for accessing military installations and potential work interruptions during military exercises.
