About this opportunity
The International Boundary and Water Commission United States-Mexico is soliciting proposals for indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity architect-engineering services contracts to provide design and engineering support for various infrastructure projects located along the U.S.-Mexico border. Offerors must demonstrate specialized experience in studies, analysis, and design of hydraulic structures, wastewater treatment plants, civil works, and hydroelectric systems. Proposals will be evaluated based on specialized experience, past performance, professional qualifications, capacity for timely completion, and local knowledge, with specialized experience given most weight. Proposals are due by April 4, 2023.
The solicitation has no set-aside designation. Services will involve various civil, environmental, and hydroelectric projects located in the U.S. states of Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California and Mexican states of Tamaulipas, Nuevo Leon, Coahuila, Chihuahua, Sonora, and Baja California. The contracts have a five-year period of performance with a minimum $2,500 annual guarantee per contractor if no task orders are received. Task orders will be issued on a firm-fixed price basis for individual projects valued between $100,000 to $5 million on average. The primary place of performance will be project sites located along the U.S.-Mexico border.
