About this opportunity
The New Hampshire Army National Guard seeks repair and restoration of an AJS C1 400Hz aircraft power converter with a rectifier failure, issued as RFQ W50S8A26QA028, with quotes due August 24, 2026. This is a total small business set-aside (NAICS 811210, $34 million size standard); only qualified small business vendors may submit quotes.
Place of performance is Hangar 254, 302 Newmarket Street, Newington, NH 03803. The contractor must perform diagnostic verification and teardown (CLIN 0001) to identify cascading damage and provide a detailed Condition Found Report, then repair or replace the rectifier assembly, calibrate, and fully test the converter back to operational standards per the Performance Work Statement (CLIN 0002). All contractor and subcontractor personnel must possess licenses required to operate the AJS C1 model and complete security requirements including background investigations, antiterrorism awareness training, and OPSEC training. Services are performed on-site Tuesday through Friday, 0630–1630 hours, excluding U.S. holidays and Government facility closures. The period of performance is one base year (12 months) with zero option years. Teleworking is not authorized.
The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract with FOB Destination to the listed address. Evaluation comprises three factors: Price (assessed for fairness, reasonableness, and price realism against the PWS level of effort), Technical Acceptability (scope coverage, detailed technical narratives addressing rectifier failure troubleshooting, and personnel qualifications), and Past Performance (rated Satisfactory or Unsatisfactory based on contract history from the past three years, CPARS records, and FAPIIS/SPRS assessments; Red or Yellow risk scores result in exclusion). Any rating of "Unacceptable" in a non-price factor renders the quote ineligible. A scheduled site visit on August 5 was completed with zero attendance; the RFI period is closed. The quote submission deadline was extended as of August 21.
