About this opportunity

The U.S. Army Materiel Command's Mission and Installation Contracting Command at Fort Eustis is seeking to establish a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for Aircraft Painting Services on a small business set-aside basis. The contract will require the successful contractor to provide non-personnel services for aircraft painting and anti-pest intrusion services for various aircraft on display at the Army Aviation Museum. The contractor shall remove old paint, apply new coatings, and perform other restoration work to return the aircraft to their original period appearance, without compromising authenticity. The contract has a 5-year period of performance, and the government is looking for information from interested small businesses to determine if there is sufficient competition to set aside the requirement.

The anticipated NAICS code is 336411, Aircraft Manufacturing, with a size standard of 1,500 employees. The government is seeking information on potential small business capabilities, including 8(a), Small Disadvantaged Business, HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, and Women-Owned Small Business concerns. Interested parties are requested to provide details on their previous experience, pricing information, and recommendations to improve the acquisition approach. The government will not accept unsolicited proposals at this time, and there is no guarantee that a solicitation will be issued in the future.
