About this opportunity
The 97th Contracting Squadron at Altus Air Force Base is seeking to procure Aircraft Lighting and Monitoring Control System (ALCMS) Computers through a competitive solicitation. The procurement involves replacing outdated ALCMS systems at three specific locations within the Air Force base, including the Air Traffic Control Tower and two vaults. The Department of the Air Force Air Education and Training Command will evaluate quotes using a lowest price technically acceptable approach, with technical acceptability determined by meeting all salient characteristics of the required items. Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database and have a DUNS number to be eligible for award. Questions regarding the solicitation must be submitted in writing by March 7th, 2025 at 1800 CST, with quotes due by March 25th, 2025. The evaluation will first review the two lowest-priced quotes for technical compliance, with award potentially made to a single vendor if their price is determined fair and reasonable.
This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside contract under NAICS code 335132 for Electric Lamp Bulb and Other Lighting Equipment Manufacturing. While specific award value is not detailed, the scope involves replacing lighting control systems at three distinct locations with varying electrical circuit configurations. The contractor will be responsible for supplying hardware and software components, with Altus AFB's Electrical Shop handling the actual installation. Funding for the contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds, and no legal liability will arise until funds are confirmed and written notice is provided to the contractor.
