About this opportunity

The U.S. Army Materiel Command, Army Contracting Command seeks the lease, deployment, operation, and support of four AI-powered Mosquito Surveillance System units at designated Eighth Army installations in the Republic of Korea, with quotations due June 25, 2026 and questions due June 4, 2026. The procurement is set aside for Women-Owned Small Businesses.

Place of performance is the Republic of Korea across four installations: Camp Bonifas, Warrior Base, Dagmar North Training Area, and Rodriguez Live Fire Complex. The period of performance runs July 1 through September 30, 2026. The NAICS code is 541715, Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences; the PSC is S207, Housekeeping—Insect/Rodent Control, with a small business size standard of $20.5 million.

The systems must perform automated mosquito surveillance with AI-based species identification achieving a minimum 95% accuracy for medically important vectors including Anopheles, Culex tritaeniorhynchus, Aedes albopictus, Culex pipiens, and Aedes vexans. Data transmission to a Government-accessible cloud dashboard must occur in near-real-time within one hour of collection. The contractor must deploy and activate all four units within 24 hours of July 1, achieve 98% system uptime, resolve system faults within 24 hours with no more than two unresolved interruptions exceeding three hours per trapping night, and conduct a minimum of two on-site field validation visits per location. The contractor must also provide training to Government personnel on dashboard access and system troubleshooting and retrieve all equipment within eight business days of deployment completion.

Quotations will be evaluated using a comparative methodology weighing technical capability, delivery/schedule approach, and price. The award will be a single firm-fixed-price purchase order to the responsible vendor providing best value, with all-inclusive pricing covering equipment lease, labor, materials, shipping, transportation, and all Performance Work Statement compliance costs. Amendment 0001, issued June 18, 2026, extended the response deadline from June 10 to June 25 and modified the Performance Work Statement; contractor acknowledgment of amendment receipt is required.
