The system must maintain temperature accuracy within 4 percent tolerance and operate continuously for up to 16 hours. Design must comply with NFPA 85 and ASME standards, employ a helical coil heat exchanger fabricated from 316 stainless steel per API RP 530, a forced-draft low NOx natural gas burner with pilot ignition, and a comprehensive control system with a master PLC interfaced to a burner management flame safeguard system. Equipment must be capable of daily operation and startup after inactivity periods of up to 30 days without component damage. The vendor shall deliver commissioning, training, operation and maintenance manuals, and a one-year warranty following acceptance.
Place of performance is Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio.
