- Provide professional engineering services for the design and construction administration to renovate the Radiography/Fluoroscopy Rooms D241 & D238. A/E shall consider associated support spaces in the design. (i.e., control rooms and adjacent corridor(s)) and the associated changing room/restroom.
- The design will require consideration for medical equipment and will require close coordination to ensure manufacturer requirements are met. This will include consideration for architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing interfaces. Detailed product cutsheets of the equipment will be furnished by the VA to the A/E post-award. It is expected that the A/E shall design systems up to the supply source in the space e.g. disconnect switch.
- The design shall evaluate the existing HVAC system(s) serving the renovated areas and design a replacement solution to meet design guidelines. Per VA HVAC Design Manual, March 1, 2022, 3.2.1.4, do not design an enclosure/penthouse/mechanical space to contain HVAC equipment.
- This project shall renovate approximately 1,140 SF of space to the 2nd floor.
