About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Air Combat Command (ACC) is seeking proposals for Advance Life Support (ALS) (Ambulance) Services at Holloman Air Force Base (HAFB) in New Mexico. The contractor will be required to provide 24/7 emergency transport services on base and in the surrounding area, with shifts consisting of two Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), one of whom must be a Paramedic. The contractor will respond to 911 calls, in-flight emergencies, and support HAFB exercises and special events as requested. Patients will be transported to the designated healthcare facility, Christus Health, located 13.6 miles from HAFB. Offers are due by July 22, 2024 at 10:00 AM MT, and the anticipated award date is on or around August 17, 2024.
This is a competitive small business set-aside acquisition under NAICS code 621910 with a $22.5M size standard. The contract has a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods, for a total period of performance from September 1, 2024 to August 31, 2029. HAFB will provide the primary and secondary ambulances, but the contractor is responsible for staffing and maintaining them. The government will also provide medical supplies, but the contractor must restock the ambulances after each transport.

Description Summary
Holloman AFB (HAFB) needs personnel to perform emergency transport services on base and limited surrounding areas. Shifts must consist of two (2) Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), one (1) of whom must be an Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic (EMT-P). HAFB shall provide a primary and secondary ambulance. The Contractor shall provide 24- hour coverage, 7 days a week, 365 days a year with no exceptions. The Contractor shall also provide ambulance response to emergencies as requested by dispatch and transport to designated health care organization, Christus Health(r), located 13.6 miles from HAFB, ensuring the patient receives the appropriate level of care at all times.

12-month base period and 4, 12-month option periods.
