About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP WSS) issued a Limited / Sole Source Justification Notice for an ACTUATOR ASSY spare part (Part Number Y109101025AK1) required for the Nuclear Reactor Program, with an estimated value of $311,966.00. After extensive market research using multiple technical and logistics systems, NAVSUP WSS determined that Leslie Controls Inc. is the only approved manufacturer with rights to the underlying technical data, justifying the sole source procurement under 10 USC 3204(A)(1). The contract (N00104-25-C-BA14) was awarded on April 9, 2025, following a synopsis posted on December 4, 2024, where no alternative sources responded. To promote future competition, NAVSUP WSS will continue encouraging vendors to submit technical data packages and will advertise future requirements on the government-wide point of entry. The procurement falls under the NAICS category 332919 (Other Metal Valve and Pipe Fitting Manufacturing) and PSC category 4820 (Nonpowered Valves).
