About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation is procuring 4 units of hydraulic accumulators (NSN 1650012631604, Part Number 2750534M3) for F-16 aircraft through solicitation SPRTA1-26-Q-0006. The procurement requires new, unused components only, as surplus materials are explicitly not acceptable due to the critical and complex nature of these aircraft hydraulic system components. All items must meet Higher Level Contract Quality Requirements per FAR 52.246-11 and AS 9100 standards, with inspection and acceptance at origin, and must include Item Unique Identification (IUID) marking in accordance with MIL-STD-130. The procurement will be conducted as a firm fixed price contract against Basic Ordering Agreement SPE4A1-22-G-0007, with packaging requirements following MIL-STD-2073-1 and MIL-STD-129 specifications. Proposals must be submitted electronically to Melanie Ivie at Melanie.Ivie@us.af.mil by 4:00 PM CST on November 9, 2025.

This solicitation carries no set-aside designation and does not identify any incumbent contractors or specific budget ranges, as the procurement value is expected to remain below the simplified acquisition threshold. The 4 hydraulic accumulator units will be delivered to three separate locations by December 2025: one unit each to DLO002 and DMO001, and two units to DBA003, with each location having specific mark-for codes for proper identification. Performance of the contract work will be managed through Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where DLA Aviation is headquartered. The procurement falls under NAICS code 336413 for Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing and PSC code 1650 for Aircraft Hydraulic, Vacuum, and De-Icing System Components. The solicitation emphasizes the critical nature of these components, with strict requirements that parts be new manufactured material due to their role as testable Shop Replaceable Units (SRUs) in aircraft systems.
