About this opportunity
The Air Force Test Center Operational Contracting Division at Eglin Air Force Base intends to award a sole-source contract to GSC Systems INC for upgrades to access control systems in two buildings, with an anticipated award date of June 19, 2026. Competition is limited due to the requirement to match existing proprietary physical security infrastructure; introducing an alternative vendor would cause hardware and credential mismatches between the 919 SOW and other AFSOC installations, degrading cross-facility access and physical security posture. The contract will be structured as a Firm Fixed Price Commercial Purchase Order under FAR Part 12 authority (41 USC 1901 & 1903, implemented via FAR 12.102(b)). Work includes two CLINs: upgrades to the standard FM9 Commercial Access Control System and the SOW CP FM9 SCIF Access Control System. Place of performance is Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. GSC Systems INC is located at 15 Industrial Street NW, Fort Walton Beach, Florida (CAGE 0UFT9). The NAICS code is 561621 (Security Systems Services), with a small-business size standard of $25 million. This notice is not a request for proposals; interested parties may obtain a copy of the solicitation by contacting the contracting officer.
