About this opportunity

The Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) Installation & Technology Division has published a Special Notice to provide regular industry updates on known competitive acquisitions for Fiscal Year 2025. This Special Notice serves as an informational communication tool between ACC-APG, mission partners, and industry stakeholders, featuring multiple procurement opportunities ranging from $30,000 to $110 million. The opportunities span diverse areas including post-wide minor construction, environmental services, software license renewals, equipment maintenance, and facility management services across Aberdeen Proving Ground locations. The Department of the Army published this notice to improve transparency and communication with the contractor community. The documents attached include PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets detailing specific contract opportunities with estimated values, solicitation timelines, and contracting officer information.

The primary purpose of this Special Notice is to enhance communication and provide advance visibility into upcoming competitive acquisitions, though it explicitly states this is not a formal solicitation and no proposals should be submitted in response. Contractors may submit questions within one week of each update posting, with a limit of ten questions per vendor submission, and must direct inquiries via email only to designated procurement analysts. Questions and requests for updates will not be accepted by phone, and the government will not provide source selection sensitive information or reimburse contractors for any feedback or documentation provided. Most opportunities are structured as small business set-asides or 8(a) programs, with solicitation releases primarily targeted for the third and fourth quarters of FY 2025. All procurements are subject to cancellation at any time, and contractors are warned that seeking inappropriate procurement information could result in exclusion from future acquisitions.
