About this opportunity
The Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) issued a Special Notice regarding their Industry Update event originally scheduled for July 30, 2025. Due to overwhelming interest and scheduling conflicts with AFCEA TechNet, the event was ultimately moved to Thursday, September 4, 2025, from 9:00-11:00 AM EST at the Myer Auditorium (Building 6000) at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. The event was conducted both in-person and virtually via Microsoft Teams to accommodate maximum participation. This Industry Update, formerly known as the Advance Planning Brief to Industry, serves as a primary outreach mechanism for ACC-APG's Contracting Operations Division to communicate upcoming contracting opportunities to industry partners. The event has since concluded, with final presentation slides and Q&A materials posted by September 18, 2025.
The purpose of the Industry Update was to present upcoming contracting opportunities from ACC-APG's local contracting divisions, which support various Army commands including DEVCOM, multiple Program Executive Offices (PEOs), Army Test and Evaluation Command, and Installation Management Command. The event showcased opportunities ranging from $3M to $600M across technology areas such as cybersecurity, communications systems, positioning and navigation technologies, and installation support services. Key initiatives highlighted include the Army Open Solicitation (W9128Z-25-S-A002) offering Call for Solutions and Active Capability Gap opportunities, and the Next-Generation Commercial Operations in Defended Enclaves (NCODE) program designed to help small businesses meet cybersecurity requirements. The event was open to all industry participants at no cost, with registration required for attendance tracking, and featured both traditional contracting opportunities and innovative approaches to intellectual property rights through phased conveyance strategies.
