This is not a competitive solicitation. Under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), the CDC's Biotechnology Core Facility Branch has determined that only AB SCIEX can satisfy agency requirements because the system contains proprietary parts manufactured exclusively by AB SCIEX, and no other manufacturer's products are compatible with the servicing instrument.

The period of performance runs from August 31, 2026 through August 30, 2029. The system supports the DNA section's quality control analysis of approximately 8,000 in-house synthesized oligonucleotides annually for outbreak investigations, research, and FDA-approved kit production.
Interested sources must submit a capability statement including management and technical data and cost information. Points of contact are Nicky Sulaiman (Program Manager, ngs6@cdc.gov) and Faye Rashid (Contracting Officer Representative, fbj3@cdc.gov) at CDC headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.
