About this opportunity
The Department of the Interior Bureau of Reclamation seeks a complete Segmented Flow Analysis nutrient analyzer system (AA500), with quotations due July 22, 2026 at 3:00 PM EST. This is a sole source procurement restricted to SEAL Analytical, justified by the vendor's exclusive manufacturing rights and proprietary capabilities unavailable from competing sources.
Place of performance is 500 Fir Street, Boulder City, Nevada. Delivery, installation, and training must be completed within 180 days of award, FOB Destination. The NAICS code is 334516, Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing; PSC is 6640, Laboratory Equipment and Supplies.
The procurement comprises five line items: the AA500 analyzer, a pump with automatic engage and release platen and dual reagent valve sets, a high-specification computer with 21-inch monitor, an APC Back-UPS PRO 1000VA uninterruptible power supply, and installation and training services. The system must employ true Segmented Flow Analysis methodology with 2.0 mm glass manifold components, dual-beam spectrophotometric detection with same-wavelength correction, and modular service-replaceable components. Each chemistry channel must process 60–70 samples per hour; dual-channel configuration yields 120–140 results per hour. The system must include LIMS compatibility, Windows-based PC operation via USB connectivity, and automated software-controlled startup and shutdown routines. The contractor shall provide three days minimum on-site training for up to five employees, system software and licenses, complete documentation, and a one-year warranty covering all parts and labor. Technical support is included Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM MST, via dedicated telephone and monitored email at no additional charge. All supplies must be of domestic origin unless otherwise indicated. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order. Quotations must remain firm for 30 days minimum and include unit and total pricing, technical specifications, manufacturer's catalog literature, and UEI. Electronic invoicing through the Department's Invoice Processing Platform is required; quoters unable to comply may submit a waiver. The point of contact is Angela Craig, 702-293-8459.
