The scope involves removing approximately 150 feet by 4 feet of fuel-contaminated asphalt patches and excavating contaminated soil from a 25 feet by 20 feet area to a depth of 6 feet, including comprehensive environmental testing and proper disposal at EPA and Nevada Department of Environmental Protection approved facilities. Contractors must perform laboratory analysis for Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons and potential volatile/semi-volatile organic compounds while adhering to strict EPA and NDEP regulations. Work must be conducted Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with contractors required to maintain an on-site point of contact and comply with all base security protocols including obtaining personal identification cards and vehicle registration. Electronic responses are due by June 30, 2025, to mia.webb@us.af.mil with the specific subject line "F3G3CE5147A002 - 99 CES Fuel Spill Cleanup."
This opportunity is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside under NAICS code 562910 for Remediation Services. Contractors must provide information on their response timeframes for quotes and transition periods from award to service commencement. The government emphasizes this is a Sources Sought Notice for planning purposes only and does not guarantee future contract award or funding availability. No incumbent contractor or specific budget range is identified in the documentation, and the government will not reimburse bid preparation costs for this market research phase.
