About this opportunity
The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) is conducting market research through this Request for Information (RFI) to identify qualified contractors capable of providing Military Free Fall training support services for the 75th Ranger Regiment's Regimental Reconnaissance Company (RRC). The procurement encompasses direct labor, materials, transportation, supervision, and administration for air operations and military free fall training at CONUS locations including Marana, Tucson, and Avra Valley, Arizona. Key requirements include contractor personnel possessing United States Parachute Association (USPA) certifications, a minimum of 2,500 logged jumps, specific military free fall course experience, and the ability to support training for 18-26 jumpers. Prospective contractors must maintain active registrations in both the Joint Contingency Contracting System (JCCS) and the System for Award Management (SAM), and must demonstrate prior prime contractor experience with supply and delivery orders valued between $200,000 and $1,000,000. The RFI response deadline is November 10, 2025, at 12:00 PM EST, requiring submission of a completed Market Research Questionnaire and Experience Form documenting relevant past performance and capabilities.
This procurement carries no set-aside designations and represents a short-duration contract performance period from November 29 through December 13, 2025, totaling 15 days of training support operations. The contract is structured with multiple contract line items (CLINs) covering accelerated free-fall instruction, canopy control instruction, tandem master instruction, vertical wind tunnel coaching, facility rentals, videography services, parachute rigging support, and associated travel costs. While the specific total contract value is not explicitly stated in the RFI, the PWS indicates a multi-faceted service requirement suggesting a moderate to substantial award value. Responders must provide verifiable references aligned with the project scope and demonstrate relevant experience in similar military training or air transportation operations. Prospective contractors should note that responses to this RFI will inform the government's decision regarding the formal solicitation approach and potential contractor selection for this specialized military training requirement.
