About this opportunity

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has issued a Limited/Sole Source Justification Notice for the replacement of 30 Kyocera printers that have reached end-of-life at the VA Charleston CMOP. The VA is seeking to procure 30 new Kyocera P4060dn printer engines and accessories, as the current model is no longer in production. The vendor, iA and its subcontractor Tension Corporation, are the only qualified sources to perform the required hardware modifications, software programming, and on-site configuration and testing for the printer upgrade due to the proprietary nature of the Automated Pharmacy Fulfillment System (APFS). The estimated total cost for the printers, software/hardware modifications, and on-site work is approximately $1.4 million, with an expected delivery and installation timeframe of October-November 2024.
