About this opportunity

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network 19, issued a Notice of Intent to sole-source a one-year Federal Supply Schedule task order for A1C Hemoglobin Cost per Reportable Result testing to Government Scientific Source, a small business, with a response deadline of July 6, 2026. The sole-source justification rests on existing Government Scientific Source analyzers already installed at five Oklahoma VA facilities—Oklahoma City VA Health Care System, Eastern Oklahoma VA Health Care System (Muskogee), Lawton/Fort Sill VA Clinic, Ernest Childers VA Clinic, and James Mountain Inhofe VA Medical Center—from a prior FSS-BPA awarded in July 2023. The prior FSS contract expired in summer 2025, preventing exercise of option year 3; the new task order under GSS's FSS contract 47QSMS25D00A9 ensures continuity of testing operations on the installed analyzers. The requirement encompasses contractor-owned analyzers, reagents, supplies, consumables, maintenance, repairs, and training, all priced on a cost-per-reportable-result basis. The contracting office is located at 6162 South Willow Drive, Suite 300, Greenwood Village, Colorado 80111. NAICS code 334516 applies.
