About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 6, intends to sole-source a contract to Stripes Global, a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, for OsmoPro Max and Glocyte consumables supporting the VA Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina, with responses due October 20, 2026, at 10:00 AM EST. The award will be conducted under 38 U.S.C. 8127(c) and VAAR 819.7008(a)(1), with a ceiling of $5 million and authority limited to SDVOSB awardees.
The requirement covers quarterly delivery of laboratory consumables compatible with existing equipment to maintain laboratory testing capability and patient care continuity. Stripes Global is identified as the sole authorized manufacturer distributor for these products; the equipment-specific nature of the consumables and single-source authorization justify the sole-source approach under the VA Veterans First Contracting Program.
Interested sources must submit responses electronically to Contract Specialist Krisanne Dernago (Krisanne.Dernago@va.gov) including company information, UEI, business size certification, SDVOSB status verification, capability statements, technical information, manufacturer distributor authorization letters, and pricing. Award is contingent on verification of contractor eligibility, completion of required approvals, and determination that pricing is fair, reasonable, and provides best value. The VA will review timely responses before proceeding with the sole-source award decision.
