About this opportunity

Veterans Integrated Service Network 1 issued a notice of intent to sole-source procurement, installation, configuration, and training for ScriptPro Workflow 2.0 system automation upgrades at VA Providence Healthcare System Pharmacy Service, with a response deadline of July 24, 2026 at 4:00 PM Eastern Time. The sole-source justification rests on ScriptPro's exclusive proprietary rights to its system architecture, robotic mechanisms, software, firmware, and OEM-only installation and upgrade pathways required to maintain warranty and functionality. Market research confirms no other manufacturers, including service-disabled veteran-owned businesses, are authorized or capable of performing OEM-exclusive services or providing compatible equipment. The procurement scope includes printers, barcode scanners, Datapoint mounts, terminal emulation devices, report printers, field services, robotic workflow integration, labor, project management, and removal and disposal of replaced equipment; all components must interface with existing ScriptPro automation platforms already in use at the facility. Pricing aligns to ScriptPro USA, Inc.'s VA Federal Supply Schedule contract 36F79719D0135. Although this notice is not a request for quotations, interested parties may submit capability statements demonstrating OEM authorization from ScriptPro and technical compatibility with VistA-integrated pharmacy workflows. Place of performance is Providence VA Medical Center, Providence, Rhode Island.
