About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 16, issued a notice of intent to sole-source a firm fixed-price contract to ScriptPro, LLC for the upgrade of pharmacy automation systems and software to Windows 11 compliance, with responses due by 10:00 AM CST on May 22, 2026.
The VA's Veterans Health Service Office currently operates ScriptPro automation technology across two pharmacy locations and three CBOC pharmacist operations, including outpatient dispensing robots, data interface terminals, kiosk queueing systems, signature-capture systems, and inpatient remote viewing equipment. All existing systems operate on Windows 10, which reached end-of-life on October 14, 2025 and no longer receives security updates, creating cybersecurity compliance risk and potential VA network removal.
The upgrade scope includes 50 workstations, 27 label printers, 8 ScriptPro robot CPUs, 12 notice board CPUs, 6 kiosk CPUs, 2 ScriptPro platform servers, 16 software components, 70 uninstall procedures, installation across 6 VHSO sites, and up to 60 months of support services.
Any interested party believing it can meet the requirement may respond with clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. An authorized distributor/provider letter is mandatory. Email responses only to Contracting Officer Tammie Chaney at tammie.chaney@va.gov by the May 22 deadline.
