Interested parties are invited to submit evidence of their capabilities to the identified contact within the specified timeframe.
The objective of this Special Notice is to provide notice to the contracting community of the VA's intent to sole source this medical equipment procurement while allowing interested vendors an opportunity to demonstrate alternative capabilities or challenge the sole source determination. The procurement explicitly prohibits gray market items and remanufactured goods, with delivery of non-compliant items constituting a breach of contract and potentially resulting in termination or required replacement at no government cost.
