About this opportunity

The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 9 is seeking to procure three AMSCO 400 steam sterilizers and supporting equipment for the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center through Request for Quote 36C24925Q0382. The procurement includes three 26x37.5x48 prevacuum single hinge recessed steam sterilizers with 480v configuration, six ATLAS transfer carriages, six 48" ATLAS loading cars, plus installation, deinstallation, and trade-in services for existing Century sterilizers. The sterilizers must feature high-capacity chambers validated for 12.25lb instrument trays, 12 programmable cycles, 316L stainless steel construction, and comprehensive safety features with a 15-year warranty. The government will evaluate quotes using a best value approach based on technical capability, past performance, and price in accordance with FAR 13.106-2(b)(3). Quotes are due August 15, 2025 at 12:00 PM CST, with the period of performance running from September 1, 2025 through August 31, 2026.

This procurement is 100% set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) under NAICS code 339113 with a size standard of $22 million, and contractors must be verified in the SBA Dynamic Small Business Search system. The contract will be awarded as a single firm fixed price purchase order with Net 15 payment terms and electronic invoicing requirements. The sterilizers will replace existing Century sterilizers that will be traded in as part of the contract arrangement. The work will be performed at the VA Medical Center in Mountain Home, Tennessee. Given the NAICS size standard of $22 million and the comprehensive nature of the equipment and services required, the total contract value is likely in the millions of dollars range.
