About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking repair services for one generator, alternator (NSN: 6115 011149696, Part Number: 70550-02031-111) designated as a Critical Application Item for Foreign Military Sales Case AT-P-GXO. This is a sole source requirement being awarded under an existing Blanket Operating Agreement to a pre-approved source, as the government lacks sufficient accurate or legible data to contract with alternative suppliers. Offerors must be government-approved sources and must submit all required source approval documentation per the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Brochure; failure to provide complete documentation will result in non-responsiveness. The contract pricing structure is Firm Fixed Price with FOB Origin, and contractors may propose option pricing for up to ten units over the entire contract period. The proposal due date is May 2, 2026, with an estimated delivery date of March 26, 2027.

This procurement has no set-aside designation and will be awarded to an already-established approved source. The contract includes an initial induction period of 365 calendar days from award, with a government option to extend an additional 365 days for a total of two years, during which unused induction slots may be carried over. The repair work includes evaluation, labor, materials, and parts necessary to restore the government-owned generator to operating condition under CLIN 0001AA. Items will be shipped to MAPAC PAT002 via the Australian Government Cargo Office in Brisbane, California, indicating this is a Foreign Military Sales requirement. The period of performance runs from April 24, 2026 to March 26, 2027, and contractors must comply with ISO 9001 quality management standards, hazardous material documentation requirements, military packaging and marking standards (MIL-STD-2073-1E and MIL-STD-129), and Naval Air Systems Command configuration management procedures.
