Interested parties must submit their capability statements electronically by April 18, 2025, at 12:00 PM EST to julie.lemire@va.gov, with responses limited to 8 pages in Microsoft Word or PDF format. The VA will use the submissions to evaluate market capabilities, assess potential vendor size classifications under NAICS Code 624120, and develop an acquisition strategy.

The solicitation does not indicate a specific set-aside designation and does not provide detailed budget information. The project involves installing an X-ray machine with a 77.7cm x 57.9cm tunnel opening and 180kV X-ray generators at 6900 Almeda Rd, Houston, TX, with an anticipated 10-week timeline post-contract award. Vendors must meet extensive security requirements, including mandatory web-based training and National Agency Check With Inquiries (NACI) background investigations. While this is a market research notice and not a formal solicitation, contractors will need to demonstrate significant technical capabilities and compliance with complex installation and security protocols. No reimbursement will be provided for responses, and participants will not receive direct feedback on their submissions.
