About this opportunity

The Department of the Army New Jersey Army National Guard is seeking quotes from small businesses located within a 35-mile radius of Teaneck, New Jersey for a Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program post-deployment event. The solicitation requests light refreshments, lunch meals, conference room, childcare space, and audio visual services for up to 300 personnel on January 12, 2025. Commercial items to be procured include food and beverage services, main and small conference spaces, and an audio visual package, with specific requirements detailed in the attached Statement of Work. The primary evaluation criteria will be price, with past performance considered as a secondary, less significant factor. Interested vendors must submit their quotes via email to John Moreland by December 12, 2024, and must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).

This procurement is specifically set aside for small businesses within the designated local area, with no third-party vendors permitted. The event will be held in Teaneck Township, New Jersey, and requires a venue capable of accommodating approximately 180 adults and 20 children with specific spatial and catering needs. The Statement of Work mandates a main presentation room for 200 people, with round tables, A/V equipment, and additional spaces for vendors and registration. Meal services must include light refreshments and a hot lunch, with provisions for standard and special dietary requirements. The government intends to issue a single award but reserves the right to make multiple awards if deemed in the best interest of the government. Vendors must comply with numerous Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) clauses, including requirements for electronic invoicing through the Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) system.
