This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Notice. The Federal Bureau of Prisons has a requirement for a fixed-price, multiple year (base year plus 4 option years) contract for the management and operation of the automobile parking garage located at 500 First Street, NW for the period commencing April 1, 2015, in accordance with the attached Statement of Work.
This proposed procurement is set-aside for Small Businesses, NAICS 812930 with a size standard of $7.0 million, for a specified period of one year with four possible option years. Faith-based and Community based organizations have the right to submit proposals equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. Work consists of providing at a minimum two qualified employees to monitor and park vehicles in the two level underground garage consisting of approximately 110 parking spaces at the following location: 500 First Street, NW, Washington, DC 20534.
The services shall be rendered in strict accordance with the statement of work/specifications included in the request for proposals package. The services shall be rendered five days per week (Monday thru Friday, except Federal holidays) between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. The period of performance shall be April 1, 2015 through September 30, 2015 with four possible option years through 2019.
This procurement has been set aside for small business concerns. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation will be the Internet only thru, Federal Business Opportunities System https://www.fbo.gov/index. This solicitation will not be issued in a hard copy format.
All questions shall be submitted via e-mail to Nikki N. Adkins at nxadkins@bop.gov. Proposals can be submitted via mail to Federal Bureau of Prisons, Construction Contracting Section, 320 First Street, NW, 500-6, Washington, DC 20534.
A site visit will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at 500 First St., NW Washington, DC 20534.
