About this opportunity

The Department of Agriculture Agricultural Research Service intends to award a single-source contract for one Custom 4K Wheat SNP Targeted Amplicon Primer Pool in a quantity of 15,000 reactions, with quotations due August 13, 2026 at 12:00 PM Central Time and questions due the same date. The proposed vendor is Eurofins BioDiagnostics, LLC. All timely responses will be considered; however, the Government retains sole discretion to compete the requirement based on responses received.

Place of performance and delivery is Pullman, Washington 99164. The primer pool must be the existing Eurofins BioDiagnostics–developed product used in a prior small test run, targeting approximately 4,000 SNPs within the wheat genome while maintaining the existing Eurofins multiplex assay structure. The product must support Illumina next-generation sequencing targeted amplicon workflows with increased sequence coverage and read depth per marker and sample, provide genotype reporting tied to SNP marker identities and genomic positions, and function with hexaploid bread wheat containing A, B, and D subgenomes with extensive sequence homology. Consistency with the Eurofins design is mandatory to maintain data continuity. Delivery is required within 60 days after contract award. Award is contingent on satisfactory technical review and acceptance of pending small-scale test-plate data demonstrating acceptable performance; the Government may revise or cancel the requirement if performance is inadequate.

The NAICS code is 541714, Research and Development in Biotechnology (except Nanobiotechnology); PSC is 6640, Laboratory Equipment and Supplies. Quotations must include pricing, detailed technical specifications, place of manufacture documentation, and evidence of ability to meet delivery requirements.
