The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Integrated Service Network 23 is soliciting pharmacy and lab refrigerators for the VA Central Iowa Health Care System (CIVAHCS), with offers due June 22, 2026 at 4:00 PM CDT and questions due 72 hours prior. This is a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside using simplified acquisition procedures with Lowest Price Technically Acceptable evaluation.
Place of performance is Des Moines, Iowa (CIVAHCS). The requirement specifies four types of pharmaceutical-grade refrigerators, brand name or equal to Thermo Scientific TSU and TSX Series: 15 undercounter solid-door 4.5 cubic foot units at 115V; 17 solid-door 23 cubic foot units at 120V/60Hz; 5 pharmacy glass-door 23 cubic foot units at 120V/60Hz; and 2 pharmacy double glass-door 51.1 cubic foot units at 120V/60Hz. All units must maintain tight pharmaceutical temperature control (2–8°C or 36–46°F), include integrated alarms with remote contacts, feature forced-air circulation with automatic defrost, and be compatible with Omnicell XT Flexlocks. Deliveries are FOB destination to CIVAHCS. The Buy American Act applies. Payment is Electronic Funds Transfer through the VA Financial Services Center in Austin, Texas, with invoices submitted after acceptance through the VA's Electronic Invoice Presentment and Payment System.
