About this opportunity
The 36th Contracting Squadron (36 CONS), Air Force Pacific Air Forces, seeks Polaris MRZR repair parts and delivery services to Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, with proposals due September 18 at 1:00 PM Chamorro Standard Time. The procurement is a total small business set-aside under NAICS 336390 (Other Motor Vehicle Parts Manufacturing).
Place of performance is Yigo, Guam. The requirement comprises 51 line items split into two categories: 43 Brand Name Only (Polaris OEM) parts that must be authentic Polaris Defense OEM components matching exact part numbers and sourced through authorized Polaris distribution channels, and 8 Commercial-Off-the-Shelf items including 12-Volt SLA/AGM batteries (minimum 18 Ah, 270 CCA), diesel engine oil meeting API CK-4/CJ-4 specifications, NLGI Grade 2 Premium Chassis Grease, and automotive blade fuses (5, 15, 20, and 30 Amp) complying with SAE J1284 standards. All Brand Name Only items must be brand-new and traceable; surplus, remanufactured, and gray-market items are unacceptable. Offerors are required to provide OEM manufacturer warranties for Brand Name Only items and standard commercial warranties for COTS items, both protecting against defects for a minimum of 12 months from final Government acceptance.
Delivery is required no later than 180 days after contract award on an FOB Destination basis; the contractor assumes full responsibility for shipping, ocean freight, customs clearance, and logistics coordination. Evaluation is based primarily on price for best value to the Government. Questions must be submitted by September 11 at 10:00 AM ChST to thomas.houle.4@us.af.mil or lauren_renee.reyes.2@us.af.mil. Amendment 0001, issued September 15, clarified that small-business offerors need not be manufacturers and may furnish authentic Polaris OEM products obtained through authorized distribution sources; traceability documentation may be included with the quote via technical descriptions, product literature, or catalog cuts.
