About this file
This document is an attachment outlining the salient characteristics for a federal procurement of Polaris MRZR repair parts for the U.S. Air Force.
The Government seeks to acquire new Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Polaris brand parts to maintain the Polaris MRZR Light Tactical All-Terrain Vehicle fleet operated by the 36th Contingency Response Squadron (36 CRS) and 736th Security Forces Squadron (736 SFS). The acquisition comprises 51 total line items divided into two categories: 43 Brand Name Only (Polaris OEM) parts that are critical to vehicle safety, operational performance, and system integrity and must be authentic Polaris Defense OEM components matching exact part numbers; and 8 Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) parts for which non-Polaris brand products are acceptable if they meet specified physical, chemical, and electrical characteristics. The COTS items include secondary auxiliary batteries (12-Volt SLA/AGM with minimum 18 Ah and 270 CCA), diesel engine oil products meeting API CK-4/CJ-4 specifications, Premium Chassis Grease (NLGI Grade 2), and various automotive blade fuses (5 Amp, 15 Amp, 20 Amp, and 30 Amp) complying with SAE J1284 standards.
Offerors must provide pricing for each individual part using a designated price list workbook. All Brand Name Only supplies must be authentic, brand-new products traceable to authorized Polaris distribution sources, with surplus, remanufactured, or gray-market items strictly unacceptable. The contractor must provide standard OEM manufacturer warranties for Brand Name Only items and standard commercial warranties for COTS items, protecting against defects for a minimum of 12 months from final Government acceptance. All requested parts must be delivered no later than 180 days after contract award to Andersen AFB, Yigo, Guam, on an FOB Destination basis. The contractor assumes full responsibility for shipping, ocean freight, customs clearance, and transit logistics and must coordinate delivery with the local Point of Contact at least 48 hours prior to arrival.
