The centrifugal disc finishing machine must feature 60 or greater liter capacity, 220–240V three-phase power, maximum dimensions of 46 inches long by 45 inches deep by 74 inches high, and field-replaceable wear components. The closed loop wastewater treatment system requires 120-gallon capacity, centrifugal pump, filter paper roll, ozonation system, and centrifuge separator. The manual mobile separation unit must feature hand crank lift operation.

Vendor responsibilities include developing polishing recipes for polymer and metal parts, one-day onsite installation, and providing a one-year parts warranty. Respondents must submit capability statements addressing all salient characteristics, company information, SAM.gov UEI number, business size classification, place of manufacture, applicable socioeconomic categories, authorization letters if applicable, evidence of previous installations, estimated delivery timeframes, and proprietary component constraints.

This Sources Sought Notice is issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, to conduct market research and identify capable sources for providing for a Centrifugal Disc Finishing Machine, Closed Loop Wastewater Treatment System, and Manual Mobile Separation Unit.

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT announcement only. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified businesses. This is not a request for bids, quotes, or proposals. All responsible sources must submit a capability statement addressing their capabilities, capacity, place of manufacture, and location which shall be considered by the agency.  Responses are voluntary and will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy. This notice is posted as UNRESTRICTED and is intended to gauge the entire marketplace.
