The procurement is being pursued through a Sources Sought Notice under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201(c)(3), with the primary objective of determining if an Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise (ISBEE) or Total Small Business can fulfill the requirements. While no specific award value is mentioned, the notice indicates this is a market research effort to identify potential qualified vendors for a future solicitation. The procurement will be classified under NAICS code 336110 for Automobile and Light Duty Motor Vehicle Manufacturing, with potential alternative classification considerations. Vendors must demonstrate their business size, potential HUBZone, ISBEE, small business, service-disabled veteran-owned, disadvantaged, or woman-owned business status to be considered responsive to the market research request.
