About this opportunity
The Air Force Sustainment Center will issue a solicitation on March 1, 2024 for a multiple award IDIQ contract to repair second, third, and fourth stage turbine blade sets for the TF33 engine. The contract is a total small business set-aside requiring qualification in accordance with FAR 52.209-1. Interested parties must submit source approval requests as soon as possible as the Government will not delay award to review pending requests. Responses to the solicitation are due by April 1, 2024. The potential five-year IDIQ contract includes five one-year ordering periods and allows for early delivery.
The small business set-aside contract will be administered by the Air Force Sustainment Center at Tinker Air Force Base. Estimated repair quantities are 4,320 units of NSN 2840005296202RV; 4,344 units of NSN 2840010991805RV; and 3,108 units of NSN 2840009873757RV for each ordering period. Qualified sources must have prior approval in accordance with FAR 52.209-1 to be eligible for award.

This is a total Small Buiness Set Aside.

Qualification Requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. To be eligible for contract award, the offeror must be an approved source IAW FAR 52.209-1, Qualification Requirements. The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of a SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed as a possible source for future awards.
