About this opportunity
The Department of Agriculture Forest Service is seeking small business contractors to perform emergency road repairs on the Tonka National Forest through a previously issued Road Construction & Maintenance Blanket Purchase Agreement. The work includes cleaning culverts, replacing and installing new culverts, ditching, excavation, borrow and aggregate placement and compaction, and construction of a drivable ford and cleaning road landslide material. Contractors are responsible for providing any necessary rock, which may be available from specified material sources, but quantity is not guaranteed. This is an informational notice only and not a request for quotes, as the agency is not looking to add new contractors to the BPA at this time.
This procurement is set aside for small businesses. The relevant NAICS code is likely 237310 - Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction, and the PSC code would be Y1AB - Road Construction. There is no information provided about potential incumbent contractors or award values, but this appears to be a competitive request under the previously issued BPA.
