About this opportunity
The 156th Wing Contracting Office of the Puerto Rico Air National Guard seeks communication racks with installation for the new Communications Squadron Building at Muniz Air National Guard Base, with quotes due May 7, 2026 and questions due April 30, 2026. This is a 100% small business set-aside, restricting competition to firms meeting the 600-employee size standard under NAICS code 335999.
Place of performance is Carolina, Puerto Rico. The procurement requires 14 Panduit R4P communication racks (steel, black, 30 inches depth, 84 inches height, 23.25 inches width), 16 Panduit PE2VD06 vertical cable managers (dual-sided steel, black, 26.80 inches depth, 83.60 inches height, 6 inches width with dual-hinging push-to-close doors), installation of all racks and cable managers, and installation of a new ceiling-mounted cable management tray connecting existing overhead infrastructure to the back wall. All items must be new with manufacturer's warranties; remanufactured or refurbished equipment is not acceptable. Pricing must include FOB Destination delivery to Carolina, PR 00979, and contractors must provide delivery time, warranty terms, and prompt payment terms with their quote.
The racks must be arranged in two parallel rows of seven each with minimum four-foot clearance between rows, securely anchored to concrete using stainless steel fasteners, and grounded per local, state, and federal codes. The new cable tray must be 24 inches wide and match existing tray specifications (Legrand CF105/600 EZ). The contractor is responsible for procuring a replacement ground bar with capacity for 14 connections, as the existing bar has only 12 available spaces. Award will be firm-fixed price to the lowest-priced conforming quote, made without discussions unless necessary. Prospective offerors must hold a CAGE code or UEI and be registered in SAM prior to award. Point of contact is SMSgt Eugenio R. Juarbe at 787-253-7500 or eugenio.juarbe@us.af.mil.
