About this opportunity

Air Combat Command seeks one 15-passenger commercial shuttle bus for the 23 Force Support Squadron at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia, with quotations due August 6, 2026 at 2:00 PM EST. This is a Total Small Business set-aside. The original deadline of August 4 was extended via Amendment 0001 (August 4, 2026), which also provided a revised Statement of Work based on contractor questions; answers to all questions were posted to SAM.gov on August 4.

Place of performance is Moody AFB, Georgia (5091 Gardner Street, Building 400). The vehicle must be a 2026 or newer commercial shuttle bus produced by a second-stage body manufacturer on a commercial cutaway chassis—standard OEM passenger vans are excluded. Delivery is required within 90 calendar days of award, FOB Destination, in pristine unused condition with a full tank of fuel.

Mandatory specifications include a 15-fixed-seat configuration (14 passengers plus 1 driver), flexible engine options (V8 Gas, V6 Twin-Turbo Gas, standard V6, or Diesel), Class III or IV heavy-duty towing package with 3,000–3,500 lbs GTW capacity, dual-zone HVAC (15,000–18,000 BTUs front; 55,000–70,000 BTUs rear), heavy-duty slip-resistant flooring, backup camera with interior display, multi-stage airbag system, 4-wheel ABS, Electronic Stability Control, and tire pressure monitoring. The vehicle must carry a standard manufacturer's commercial warranty with minimum 3-year/36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper and 5-year/60,000-mile powertrain coverage, and must be delivered with three programmed key sets and OEM operator and maintenance manuals. Small-business primes sourcing through authorized Ford dealerships are acceptable with proper documentation of authorized commercial status, vehicle availability, warranty commitment, and supply commitment. Quotations must exclude federal, state, and local sales tax. Delivery lead time is evaluated pass/fail and not weighted as a technical factor. The Government reserves the right to cancel and has noted funds are not presently available. Inspection and acceptance occur within a 10 business-day window following delivery, with the contractor responsible for correcting deficiencies at no additional cost. NAICS is 336110, Automobile and Light Duty Motor Vehicle Manufacturing; PSC is 2310, Passenger Motor Vehicles.
