About this opportunity

The U.S. Air Force on behalf of the 149th Fighter Wing seeks procurement, delivery, and installation of a stationary pressure washing system for F-16 aircraft maintenance, with proposals due June 23, 2026. The procurement is a total small business set-aside restricted to women-owned small businesses, with amendment 0001 issued June 17 extending the delivery schedule to 120 calendar days from award.

Place of performance is JBSA Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. The system must simultaneously supply pressurized water at 3,000 PSI and 3.5 gallons per minute to two independent wash bays with water temperature at or above 175 degrees Fahrenheit. Each bay requires a heavy-duty hose reel with at least 100 feet of high-pressure hose, and controls must be mounted locally at each sprayer station with Start/Stop/Heat on/off functionality rated to at least NEMA 4 weatherproof standards. The contractor may propose either one large pump system (minimum 7 gallons per minute total capacity) or two smaller 3.5 gallons per minute units running in parallel. The system must be compatible with on-site utilities: 480 volts, 20 amp, three-phase electrical power; and 2 PSIG natural gas. The contractor may reuse existing plumbing lines, exhaust venting, and chimney infrastructure if they pass pressure testing at 3,000 PSI; plumbing replacement costs are contractor responsibility only if lines fail testing. The existing unit model is VNG4-3000B (Serial #P1000-60073).

NAICS code is 333310, Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing. PSC is 4940, Miscellaneous Maintenance and Repair Shop Specialized Equipment. The contract is firm fixed-price with evaluation based on price (primary) and installation timeline. All contractor personnel must obtain base access passes and pass background checks. Site visit was offered June 10, 2026, with travel costs at contractor expense and a two-person limit per organization.
