About this opportunity

The Department of the Interior Bureau of Reclamation is seeking a small business contractor to prepare the 2620 wing of Building 56 at the Denver Federal Center for employee occupancy during renovation. The project involves conducting a comprehensive inventory of approximately 30 Herman Miller Ethospace workstations, transporting them to Building 56, and developing a design layout to configure 33 cubicles in a 6,600 square foot office space. Key contract requirements include removing abandoned network cabling, coordinating infrastructure needs, and disposing of unused furniture. The solicitation (140R8125Q0102) is issued as a Request for Quotation with written, signed quotes due by Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 5 PM Mountain Standard Time. A site visit is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, March 20, 2025, at 1:00 PM, with each vendor limited to 2 guests, and a Q&A period will be conducted from March 18th-21st.

The contract is set aside as a Total Small Business Set-Aside, with only qualifying vendors able to quote, using the North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 337214 and a small business size standard of 1,100 employees. The anticipated period of performance is 60 days, with work to be conducted during business hours (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday). Contractor employees must complete federal background checks, obtain proper badging, and coordinate with Bureau of Reclamation operations and IT staff. The total price shall be inclusive of all applicable fees and taxes, and inspection and acceptance will be performed by the government at the destination. While specific award values are not detailed in the solicitation, the project involves configuring office furniture and infrastructure for a single location, suggesting a focused and potentially moderate-value procurement.
