Construct Vehicle Service Road, Columbus Municipal Airport
The City of Columbus, Indiana is requesting bids for construction of a 24-foot-wide asphalt vehicle service road at Columbus Municipal Airport, with bids due June 5, 2026.
The vehicle service road will connect the westside of the south apron to an existing hangar taxilane just south of Taxiway F on the westside of the airfield. Bartholomew County, Indiana is soliciting bids for supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of air traffic control equipment, console systems, furniture, and fixtures for a new 9-level Airport Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) facility at Baker Airport, with proposals due November 10, 2026.
The scope encompasses communications systems, weather equipment, operations-floor and non-operations building equipment as specified in FAA Order 7210.78 Appendix A, slatwall-style console installations, rooftop communications antenna and cabling, facility furniture, miscellaneous fixtures including supply cabinets and bulletin boards, and appliances. The contractor is responsible for delivering a fully operational communications system that complies with FAA requirements for a Federal Contract Tower and must perform quality assurance throughout supply, installation, and commissioning to ensure the facility achieves full operational capability upon turnover to the FAA and airport authorities.
All equipment and systems must conform to FAA standards and specifications, with emphasis on communications system reliability and redundancy necessary for safe air traffic operations. The facility is a 9-level structure including the Control Cab.
