About this file
This document is a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Florida Army National Guard for a nonpersonal service contract to provide coveralls, rags, and mats to 19 locations throughout Florida. The key requirements include:
The contractor must provide:
- Coveralls: Five sets per employee issued by size with name tape identifiers, in a flame retardant material suitable for a maintenance shop in high temperatures. Dirty coveralls will be picked up weekly, cleaned, and returned the following week.
- Rags: Cotton blend rags approximately 14" x 14" to 18" x 18", with dirty rags exchanged monthly. The total clean rag count must equal the original issue quantity.
- Mats: Scraper mats (3' x 5'), traction mats (4' x 6'), and rug runners (3' x 8') to trap dirt and moisture and enhance facility safety. Floor mats must be exchanged monthly.
The period of performance is 1 base year of 12 months with 4 optional 12-month periods. Services must be provided Monday through Friday, 0800-1530, except on US holidays or government facility closures. The solicitation is open to all qualified vendors, with a focus on socio-economic categories.
