About this file
This document is an Addendum #3 for the Liberty County School System's Request for Competitive Bids and Proposals for Internal Connections Year 27 E-Rate (2024-2025) Category 2 Services. The addendum provides responses to four questions from potential bidders. The key details include:
The school district will provide floor plans to the awarded bidder, and all work must be completed after hours and on weekends while school is in session, even if all sites must be completed by the May 15, 2024 deadline. The district is open to all solution and equipment brands, and the RFP encompasses the complete need for access points in the district. The mandatory walkthrough was required for all interested bidders, regardless of whether they planned to bid on the access points or any other portion of the RFP.
The document does not provide details on pricing terms, set-asides, incumbents, funding requirements, or other salient commercial information.

ADDENDUM #3 – Q&A
LIBERTY COUNTY
SCHOOL SYSTEM
REQUEST FOR
COMPETITIVE BIDS AND
PROPOSALS FOR
INTERNAL CONNECTIONS
YEAR 27 E-RATE (2024-2025)
QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS – CATEGORY 2 SERVICES
FORM 470 APPLICATION NUMBER: 240019988
Q1. Will floor plans be provided for each site?
A1. Yes. A shared link to a folder containing floor plans will be provided to the awarded bidder.
Q2. Several sites have an install deadline of May 15, 2024. Would it be acceptable to complete all sites by this same date?
A2. Yes. However, work can only be completed after hours and weekends while school is in session.
Q3. Is the District open to supporting two different cloud-based management platforms?
It is my understanding that the bid does not encompass all the existing access points.
If so, how many additional access points would need to be included in the proposal?
A3. Liberty County is open to all solutions/brands as bid. The equipment that is listed in the spreadsheet (both eligible and ineligible tables) encompass the complete need of access points in the District for this RFP. Please provide a solution that will correlate to the requested numbers of access points in the
RFP documentation.
Q4. I am reaching out to confirm the mandatory walkthrough that was mentioned in the
RFP was regardless of if the vendor was bidding on the AP’s or any other portion of the bid. We are interested in bidding and would love the opportunity to do so but would only be bidding on a portion of the proposal?
A4. Yes, the mandatory walkthrough was required regardless of whether the vendor is bidding on the APs or any other portion of the bid.
