About this file

This is a Volume II technical proposal document for the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) related to Orange County's Traffic Signal Upgrade Phase I and Phase II project. The project encompasses the upgrade and modernization of traffic signal systems across Orange County, Florida, with Phase I estimated at $5,551,459.51 and Phase II estimated at $5,417,649.62. Sealed responses for the project (Y25-726-MB) are due by 4:00 pm EST on Thursday, September 17, 2026. All responses must be submitted electronically through the OpenGov e-Procurement Platform; hand-delivered, mailed, faxed, or emailed submissions will be rejected. The Volume II document appears to contain detailed technical specifications, scope of work, and supporting documentation necessary for respondents to prepare comprehensive bids for the traffic signal upgrade work.

The project involves significant capital investment in traffic infrastructure improvements across Orange County. Respondents should note that submission requirements are strictly enforced through the designated electronic procurement platform, with no alternative submission methods permitted. The two-phase approach allows for phased implementation of traffic signal upgrades, with each phase representing substantial municipal infrastructure investment. Additional details regarding specific signal locations, technical requirements, performance standards, and project scheduling would be contained within the full scope of work and supporting exhibits included in the Volume II documentation.
