The total estimated project cost is $5,875,906, with $4,000,000 in federal funds and $1,875,906 in local funds. The contract will be a unit price contract, with the contractor responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, and performing all work detailed in the contract documents. The project includes specific requirements for on-the-job training, disadvantaged business enterprise participation, and compliance with federal and state regulations including Davis-Bacon wage rates, E-Verify employment verification, and Build America, Buy America Act provisions. Liquidated damages are established based on the contract amount, with daily rates ranging from $980 to $10,467 plus additional calculations for contracts over $40 million.
