About this file
This document is a written inquiries and answers file for Colorado's Cable TV Repair Services contract (DQ 2026000494). The scope of work encompasses maintenance and repair services for eleven headend locations and twenty facilities statewide. The contract requires awarded contractors to maintain a two-hour deployment response time, though this requirement is primarily geared toward acknowledgement of service requests rather than physical onsite arrival. Contractors must provide preventive maintenance services across multiple television distribution platforms, including C-BAND systems, DIRECTV systems, DISH Network systems, and other platforms, with specific channel lineups and equipment details outlined in supporting attachments.
For unscheduled maintenance services falling outside the preventive maintenance scope, contractors must submit detailed estimates with labor and materials broken out to the Facilities Management Services (FMS) department for approval before proceeding with repairs. The contract currently maintains no spare or replacement parts at headend locations, placing responsibility on contractors to source necessary equipment. In cases where equipment must be ordered from proprietary sources, timeline extensions are permitted provided tracking information is submitted, with expedited shipping requested when feasible. All reimbursable expenses for unscheduled maintenance, including per diem, mileage, travel costs, and mobilization charges, require prior approval and are subject to established limits established through the estimate submission process.
