About this file
This is a contractor warranty letter form from the Clay County Board of County Commissioners in Florida. The warranty applies to all labor, materials, and work performed on County projects and requires contractors to warrant that deliverables comply with contract documents and authorized modifications. The warranty period extends for two years from the date of completion and acceptance of improvements by the County. Contractors must remedy any defects arising from improper materials, workmanship, or arrangement at their sole expense during the warranty period and must respond to all warranty calls from the County within twenty-four hours of notification. The warranty excludes defects resulting from owner abuse or neglect, acts of God, or normal wear and tear.
The warranty form requires contractors to provide their name, address, project information, contract number, and license number. Contractors must sign and date the warranty letter, acknowledging their obligations under the specified terms. The form explicitly notes that this warranty does not preclude or replace any additional warranties that may be required by the contract documents themselves, indicating that contractors may be subject to more extensive warranty obligations depending on the specific terms negotiated in individual contracts with Clay County.
