Fuel Measurement System for Aberdeen Testing Center

Brand Name Only COTS AVL FuelTron Advanced 300 with LD/MD Extension Unit

GENERAL: Aberdeen Test Center (ATC) is requesting the procurement of one (1) fuel measurement system that is designed for fuel systems with return flow into the tank - diesel application. A critical requirement of the system is to not introduce a pressure drop and therefore not influence the application and measurement. This system is developed using hydraulic components such as heat exchanger, pumps and valves to measure the actual fuel use performance in highly dynamic environments. The system outputs fuel volume rate, total consumption, fuel density, fuel pressure and fuel temperature in an integrated package. The system shall be supplied with all cables, hoses and configuration software.

1. Fuel flow measurement specifications.

a. Measurement range of -30 to 300 liters/hour.

b. Measurement resolution of 0.044 Cubic Millimeters.

c. Flow data rate of 100 samples per second.

2. Fuel Density measurement specifications.

a. Measurement range of 0.6 to 1.2 grams per cubic centimeter.

b. Measurement resolution of 0.0005 grams per cubic centimeter.

c. Density data rate of 1 sample per second.

3. Maximum data output rate of 100 Hz.

4. Powered by DC voltage with input range of 10 volts to 30 volts DC.

5. Operating temperature -40 to 85 deg. C (-40 to 185 deg. F)

6. Interface support

a. CAN bus Input/output

b. Analog

c. Digital I/O - frequency
